This is my copper silk and suede bag. It’s the Tuck style from Hip Handbags by Valerie Schrader.

I used a modification of the design on page 83 of the book.

And here’s the inside. I batiked this fabric several years ago. I used a magnetic purse snap which was fabulous to use – I will be buying more of these from Ghee’s. Slit the fabric, poke it through, back it with the supplied washer and bend the pins down. Super simple.
